DEBRA UK Avropa Yara İdarəetmə konfransında iştirak edir
This year’s EWMA (European Wound Management) conference took place in Barcelona between the 26-28 March, and was attended by our Director of Member Services, Claire Mather.
This annual conference, which is the largest wound care event in the world, brings together colleagues and peers from across the wound management field plus leading suppliers showcasing new products and innovations.
The team from DEBRA attended the conference to stay up to date on the latest developments in wound care and to share the needs of the EB community.
The conference was a great opportunity to present an e-poster about the EB Insights Study to the many wound care companies, dermatology nurses, and tissue viability specialists in attendance. This is third time the EB Insights Study has been published, and this latest e-poster provided an overview of the study and the key outcomes. To view the e-poster, please click here.
Commenting on the conference, Claire said:
“We were really encouraged by the number of companies we engaged with at EWMA this year who are interested in EB, and who want to engage with us, as the patient support organisation for EB, to better understand the condition and the needs of those directly affected by it.
It was also clear from the conversations held that there is strong interest from companies in developing new product solutions that could benefit people living with EB. We look forward to pursuing these opportunities and already have several meetings planned with companies active in this area.”
By sharing your EB story, you can help us raise awareness of the needs of the EB community with healthcare and pharmaceutical companies who could help provide solutions that support EB symptom management.
